CLEMSON HIGHLIGHTS
2000-2001 Indoor Season
Runner-up in the shot put at the NCAA Indoor Championships with a
mark of 53'8 1/2"...finished third at the NCAA Championships in the
weight throw with a mark of 66'11 1/2"...ACC Champion in the shot put
and the weight throw with marks of 52'5 1/4" and 65'9 3/4",
respectively, setting ACC meet records in both events...recorded a
season-best mark of 68'0 1/2" in the weight throw at the Ikon
Invitational (that mark automatically qualified her for NCAA
Championships)...finished fifth in the weight throw at the USA
Nationals, recording a mark of 63'5"...season-best marks in shot put
and weight throw are conference records.
1999-2000
Red-shirted the indoor and outdoor seasons.
1998-99
Won the shot put (50'3 1/4") and the discus (163'5") and placed
second in the hammer (178'2) to lead Clemson to the 1999 ACC Outdoor
Championship...set the Clemson hammer record with a throw of 181'7"
at Florida...had a career-best 170'2" to win the discus at the Penn
Relays...won the shot put with a throw of 49'1 1/2" at the ACC indoor
meet...set a Clemson record in the 20lb weight indoors (57'5 3/4")
...finished 18th in the shot put at the NCAA Indoor
Championships...qualified for the national meet with a mark of 50'11"
in the shot put at the USA Championships
1997-98
Ranked fourth nationally among all freshmen in the shot put indoors
and was third outdoors among all freshmen...won the shot put (50'1
3/4") and placed second in the discus (154'5") at the ACC outdoor
meet with a mark of 50'1 3/4"...placed second in the shot put at the
league indoor meet (49'3")...won the discus competition at the
Clemson Relays (162'9")...placed first in the shot put (49'4 1/2")
and second in the discus (152'1") at the Texas El Paso Invitational
DELSEA REGIONAL HIGH SCHOOL HIGHLIGHTS
New Jersey All-Group Champion in the discus as a senior...was also
the top rated shot put and discus thrower in the state...Gloucester
County Thrower of the year in 1995 and 1996...MVP of the Cam-Glo 1997
Track and Field meet...also earned MVP honors of the 1996 Christmas
Basketball tournament...a tri-county all-star from 1995-96...earned
varsity letters in soccer (1), basketball (4) and track (4)..member
of four state championship teams, two for track and one each for
soccer and basketball
