Led Clemson in the indoor pole vault...set a personal best of 16'8 3/4" at Virginia Tech, placing third... cleared 16'6 3/4" at the Orange and Purple Meet...won the event at the ACC Outdoor Championships, clearing 16'4 3/4" and earning All-ACC honors ...finished second at the Clemson Invitational with a vault of 16'4 3/4".

Western Carolina University:
Competed for the Catamounts during the 1998-99 season...set the Western Carolina pole vault record with a vault of 16'4 3/4"...won the pole vault at the 1999 Southern Conference Outdoor Championships.

Roswell High School:
Coached by Ray Langley... won the Georgia state championship in 1997 and 1998 ...chosen Atlanta Track Man of the Year in 1997 and 1998.
