Finished third in the 800m at the ACC Indoor Championships with a time of 1:52.42, his best indoor time of the season... finished seventh in the Sprint Invitational in 1:54.06...set the second-best indoor time of 1:53.40 in the preliminaries of the 800m at the ACC Championships...led Tigers in the 800m outdoors and recorded a personal best time of 1:50.05 outdoors at the Cardinal Invitational...won the 800m in 1:51.26 at the Clemson Invitational ...placed second at the Orange and Purple with a time of 1:50.96.

1998-99:
Redshirted the cross country season...a member of the distance medley relay team that placed fourth at the ACC Indoor Championships ...finished sixth with a time of 1:55.49 in the 800m at the ACC outdoor meet...ran a season-best time of 1:53.08 to place sixth in the 800m at the Clemson Invitational outdoors...a member of Clemson's 4x800m relay team that posted a time of 7:28.25 at the Sea Ray Relays.
