CLEMSON HIGHLIGHTS 1998-99 • Competed in five of Clemson’s seven cross country meets, consistently finishing among the Tigers’ top four runners • Placed 11th with a time of 18:34 at the Western Carolina Invitational • Also placed 11th at the Clemson Invitational, turning in a time of 18:28 • Placed 13th with a time of 18:35 at the Virginia Invitational • Had a season-best performance of 17:55 at Notre Dame • Did not compete during the indoor and outdoor seasons 1997-98 • Placed fourth with a time of 4:59.45 in the mile at the ACC indoor meet • Earned All-ACC honors as a member of the distance medley relay team that placed second with a time of 11:55.31 at the league indoor meet • Finished fifth in the 1500m (4:36.06) at the ACC Outdoor Championships • Ran a season-best time of 2:16.05 in the 800m in the preliminaries of the league outdoor meet 1996-97 • Posted an 18:53 at the Virginia Tech Cross Country Invitational • Ran a personal-best 19:29 at the ACC Cross Country Championships • Ran the 1500m in 4:49.41 at the Florida Relays outdoors.

BELLPORT HIGH SCHOOL HIGHLIGHTS • Coached by Steve Schoppman, her father • School record holder in the 800m, 1000m, 1500m, 1600m • Member of the 4x800m, 4x1600m and distance medley relay teams which hold the school record • Helped Bellport to the 1992 and 1993 cross country state championship and to the 1994 state championship in indoor and outdoor track • A member of the Suffolk County All-Academic Team and the New York State All-Academic Team • Earned 13 letters in cross country and track and field.
