Randy
Cheek was a member of Clemson's
football team from 1978-1981.
After playing on the Tigers'
1981 National Championship team,
he remained on the football
staff during the 1982 and 1983
seasons under Head Coach Danny
Ford. A 1983 graduate of Clemson
with a degree in Textile Technology,
Cheek resides in Six Mile with
his wife, Lisa. They have three
children, Casey,
Molly and Randall. Randy
serves as Mayor of Six Mile
and also operates his own business,
Nationwide Insurance, of Clemson.

Emily
Wood was a member of Clemson’s
cross country and track and
field teams
from 1981-1984. She earned
a B.A. in English in 1985
and an M.A. in English in
1990. She is a freelance copyeditor
and lives in Clemson. She
has two sons, Exley and Jesse
McCormick. Exley is a senior
at Clemson. They are both
big Tiger fans.
