Fame.

we

student
athletes,
encouraging
them
to
become
more
active
in
University
affairs.

The Nominating Committee of the Clemson University Athletic Hall of Fame is now accepting recommendations for Hall of Fame consideration, according to Charlie Bussey, of the Tiger Letterwinners Association. The Letterwinners Association Board of Directors serves as the Hall of Fame Nominating Committee, and according to Bussey, they will meet in April and consider all those who have been recommended. The football game between Clemson and the University of South Carolina, to be played in Columbia on November 28, 2009, will mark the 50th anniversary of the last Big Thursday game between the two schools. Until the 1960 game, Clemson and Carolina always met in Columbia on a Thursday afternoon in October, during State Fair holidays.
