Bobby Douglas, a native of South Toms River, NJ, has worked in the Clemson Ath¬letic Department for the past 30 years, including the last 18 with the Student-Athlete Enrichment Programs in Vickery Hall. During the past 18 years, Douglas has served in many capacities with regards to his primary role as an academic advisor for the Student-Athlete Enrichment Programs. Douglas has the responsibility of academic advisor for the men's soccer team, a position he has held for 18 years. He is in his fifth season advising the Tiger baseball squad. Douglas, who served as the interim director for the Student-Athlete Enrichment Programs in 2002-03, was named Director of Academic Services for Student-Athletes in 2004. He is responsible for coordinating academic support for Clemson's student-athletes. Douglas coordinates NCAA eligibility and oversees the Vickery Hall portion of the transfer process for all student-athletes. He also serves on the Orientation Advisory Board. Douglas received both his bachelor of science and master's degrees from Clemson. He is married to the former Ann Skelton of Clemson, and they have two children, Mary and John. |
