![]() Dr. Phillips is writing weekly to Tiger fans about opportunities and challenges facing Clemson |
Dec. 15, 2004
I believe most of us pause at this time of year and think about the blessings that we have been provided. As I reflect back upon my two-and-a-half years at Clemson, my family and I are indeed blessed to be a part of this university and part of this program.
We have had and continue to have our challenges and ups-and-downs. On balance, again upon reflection, there is not a more special place in America to have these ups-and-downs and challenges. It makes it all the more worthwhile.
We're extremely grateful to the longtime and very loyal support of our people. It is support we do not take for granted. We want to do the very best job we can to bring this program -- in all areas -- to a point that we are extremely proud of. We want this program to reflect in a positive and consistent fashion on this university, staff, coaches, student-athletes and, most assuredly, our supporters.
I want to take this opportunity to wish everyone a Happy Holiday season and express our gratitude for being a part of a special group of people.
